Great to improve, with tons of examples and ideas to apply in our games.

"The Visible Man" as a chess course!
If you remember old school science classes before a lot of the current technology, there were models often found in biology and anatomy classes called "The Visible Man," which was a transparent human body with plastic removable organs so that you can see the different organ systems, where they go, and connect your book study to a visible model.
This course for beginners is a quite similar approach! Here, Matt takes us step by step through beginner games, taking time to explain each move and possible simple variations. What ends up happening is we see common early structures and tactical ideas that make sense for beginners. Matt's approach is chill and steady, which is an effective way to teach for this level because similar courses or YouTube videos will very often blow through the material too quickly to digest.
I am a beginner myself, and I'm taking a slow and deliberate approach to building my fundamental skillset. This course is a great addition to my current resources, and I'm very much enjoying getting a clear and comprehensive look into the thought processes that successful chess requires. Although this course may be a little elementary for chess improvers at around 1000 Elo, I'm positive that there is plenty to recommend for students under 1000. Combining this course with the ChessGoals study plan seems like a solid bet for steady and reliable improvement.
Note: I'm an educator myself, and I'm very particular about learning materials, especially when they are in a self-paced virtual format. This course is pedagogically effective and never feels condescending. I highly recommend it!

A Good Course to present good chess fundamentals
I personally feel this course does help greatly as not many course that really explains the chess fundamentals well as I feel I am stuck at a strong beginner level and always blunder and sometimes loses the opportunity to win. with course, I can apply what I have learn in chess into the game and win the game. A recommendation of course to break through for strong beginners levels.

Very good course!
One video a day plus the accompanying pgn is a great crash course on all aspects of the game for the beginner. I notice Matt's instruction slowly getting wired into my mind while playing games and making less mistakes. I really hope there will be a sequel for the next rating band.

Excellent Course to Learn from Actual Games
This course delivers solid insights that points out positive play as well as mistakes to help better understand the game. It’s nice to learn from games that have been played at the beginner level of chess to see practical ideas that you will be familiar with compared to games played at at the higher levels. Very pleased with this course!

Amazing course
I have been studying chess as an adult improver for a few years, and I've only managed to reach 900 ELO or so on chess.com. I have bought and taken countless courses from countless sources, and while some have been good and instructive, none as good as this. The breakdown for BOTH sides as the game is played in invaluable at my level. I find that when I play a game after watching a lesson, I can immediately apply a learning and improve. The instructor also has a great voice for this. Well worth the money and so much more.

Excellent chess instruction and not just for beginners
I love this format, you get one guy talking over every move in the game, and another doing text based annotation, with both giving advice and tips, with the occasional pause to let you figure out best moves. Worth it at twice the price.
I've been playing for three years, so for sure not a beginner and I gained alot from this course, if you are under 1600, I think you will too.
